End of the Year Sermons at Berkeley
The final week of spring term included two final sermons within the Berkeley community.
The Very Rev’d Andrew McGowan, outgoing Dean of Berkeley at Yale, preached his final Wednesday Community Eucharist in Marquand Chapel, and senior Nelson Pike ‘26 M.Div., who is a candidate for ordination in the Diocese of Massachusetts, preached at Friday Morning Prayer in St. Luke’s Chapel. Dean McGowan preached about how we recognize the risen Jesus in the breaking of the bread. Nelson Pike reminded the students that ends are also beginnings.
