Nationally bestselling author, Deborah Royce, mediated this dynamic conversation with Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and Dean Andrew McGowan. The conversation celebrates the debut of the Grace-Based Films documentary, A Case for Love, based on the Most Rev’d Michael Curry’s teachings and writings.

Bishop Curry and Dean McGowan

The Most Rev’d Michael Curry is Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church. He is well-known for his passionate sermon about “The Power of Love” at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He famously wrote in his book Crazy Christians, “If it’s not about love, it’s not about God.”

The Very Rev’d Dr. Andrew McGowan has been Dean of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale since 2014. He is also McFaddin Professor of Anglican Studies and Pastoral Theology. Before coming to Yale, Dean McGowan was Warden of Trinity College at the University of Melbourne. He is an Anglican priest and a historian whose work focuses on early Christianity and contemporary Anglicanism.
