Please join the Berkeley Divinity School at Yale community and our Partners on the Quad for Convocation & Reunions, Monday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Berkeley-specific events will be held on Wednesday, October 7th, culminating with the Installation of the Very Rev’d Dr. Gabrielle R. Thomas as Berkeley’s 15th Dean and President during Community Eucharist. Other events include the BDS Graduate Network Lunch, Academic Convocation with Cheney Lecture and Conferral of Honorary Degrees, an Academic Panel Discussion, and an evening reception at the Berkeley Center. 

As a scholar-priest, this moment is a vocational homecoming. It is a sacred trust to be called to serve as Dean of Berkeley Divinity School.
