Berkeley’s Armando Ghinaglia wins Living Church Essay Competition

The ninth annual Student Essays in Christian Wisdom competition run by The Living Church magazine attracted 22 papers from 12 Anglican seminaries and divinity schools in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The Rev. Armando Ghinaglia of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale won the top prize with his paper, “The End of All Our Exploring: Sacraments, Scripture, and Wisdom in the Pursuit of God.”

Armando, a deacon in the Episcopal Church in Connecticut, remains at Yale studying Law after receiving both his AB and MDiv from Yale. He has been both a President’s Public Service Fellow in the City of New Haven, and Woodbridge Fellow in the Office of the Vice President for Student Life at Yale.
