William Franklin, who served as Dean of Berkeley from 1998 to 2001 and is now bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York.
Convocation day will begin at 1:30 when Bishop Atta-Baffoe will deliver the Francis Cheney lecture on the topic of “Living in Communion with Anglicanism.” At 3 o’clock the Graduate Society will hold its annual meeting. Dean McGowan along with Yale Divinity School Gregory Sterling will both attend and lead the day’s discussion. Finally the Convocation Evensong will take place in Marquand Chapel at 5 o’clock.
